Of average height and with an athletic build, Samantha shares a great deal of her mother's striking features. Her short black hair bears faint red and white highlights, drawing out the color of her scarlet eyes.

Despite her relative inexperience, she is determined and passionate, always striving to prove herself. Her father insisted she learn German as a way to be closer to her mother, so she's bilingual. There's two sides to Samantha and you never get them together, she's either a fount of lighthearted energy, or laser focused and serious. Growing up without a mother, and with a father often deployed away, has left Samantha with deep rooted abandonment issues.

Samantha's story is one of love and survival. Her mother, a Soviet East German, was rescued by a British pilot during one of the harrowing defenses against the BETA in the early 1980s. Their improbable love blossomed amidst the chaos, and Samantha was born as a symbol of hope and resilience, regrettably with her mother dying in childbirth. Inspired by stories from her father, she trained rigorously to become a TSF pilot, bypassing conscription by showing up herself to volunteer using her mother's maiden name. Now, as a relatively green pilot in London, she eagerly awaits her orders and assignment from UN command.
