Anton Asimov
Level 5 Human ESPer Pilot - Rush Guard -
An older holdout of the fifth-generation of ESPers from the Alternative III program, he's since integrated himself into Soviet forces and kept his telepathic abilities secret as to avoid suspiscion and animosity on the already hostile Kamchatka Defense Line. His open disgust of military and national leadership leads many to give him a wide berth.

appearance
Sharp facial features. Fringed and layered mid-length platinum hair. Piercing red eyes. Has many scars on his face from years of battle against the BETA.
Pilots an Su-27 on the battlefield.
personality
Elitist, and cold. He thinks nothing of the lives of the humans around him, only his own survival. He loathes the government and humanity in general, but acknowledges the BETA as the greater threat. Disgusted by mankind's ability to dismissively throw children to war, and the folly of continuing to hate and mistrust one another in the face of such a unifying and imminent threat, the BETA. Devil may care attitude.
backstory
After being sent repeatedly into suicidal Hive missions in attempts to communicate with the BETA, often wiping out whole batches of ESPers, for the sake of Alternative III, Lieutenant Asimov escaped the facilities where he and the other ESPers were kept and disappeared, reintegrating into the Soviet army. Only using his abilities for the sake of keeping himself alive, he's used his telepathy to find dirt against many comrades he deems a threat, dancing gracefully through the political web of life as a Soviet citizen. He's chosen to fade to the background as much as possible in the military, though that often comes with its double-edged shortcomings, like being used as a diversionary unit, but due to his skill and will to survive often returning as a solo survivor.
