Erected in 1986. Located in south central France, the Lyon Hive is a Class 5 structure capable of producing Heavy Laser class. The site of a largely unsuccessful operation in the early 90's, dropping TSFs from orbit through an Anti-Laser smokescreen in efforts to destroy the hive. It serves as the first major target on the European front to resecure a foothold on the continent. Alternates in attacking north towards the United Kingdom and south towards North Africa. BETA Hives must be eliminated in one of three ways: G-bomb detonation, infiltration and deployment of S-11 SD-SYSTEMs in the Hive Core, completion and deployment of Alternative IV and the XG-70 Susanoo.
