She wears tattered remnants of a once-beautiful dress made of moss and flowers, now decayed and darkened.

The Wailing Matron is melancholic and sorrowful, often speaking in riddles and lamentations. She feels a deep sense of loss and seeks to share her pain with others, believing that by leading them into her traps, they will understand her suffering. Despite her dark nature, there is a flicker of her former kindness that occasionally shines through.

Once a guardian of the forest, the Wailing Matron was corrupted by dark magic, transforming her into an undead dryad. Now, she lures lost travelers into cursed traps, feeding on their despair and drawing them deeper into the decay of her once-harmonious home. Her sorrowful wails echo through the woods, a haunting reminder of the beauty that was lost.
