He was hidden within the upper sanctums of the Orchid Spire until the blue fire in his infant hands ignited a dream-tapestry of divine heritage. His mother was executed in the Matriarchal Conclave. His father vanished. Now a fugitive, Vaelith wanders the Veinwound and beyond, whispering illegal sermons of forgiveness and trauma through his blue fire, which he calls the “Sorrow Flame.” It remembers everything he fears to say.
