Description
Bloodwillow Sentinels are ancient, massive trees with vibrant crimson leaves that bleed a thick, dark sap when harmed. They guard their territory fiercely, using their animated roots and thorned vines to ensnare intruders and drain their life force into the earth.

Animate Roots
The Bloodwillow Sentinel animates its roots to grapple up to two creatures within 30 feet. A creature must succeed on a DC 18 Strength saving throw or be restrained.
Bleed Sap (Recharge 5-6)
The Bloodwillow Sentinel releases a burst of its dark sap in a 20-foot radius. Creatures in that area must make a DC 16 Dexterity saving throw, taking 4d6 necrotic damage on a failed save, or half as much on a successful one.
Thorned Vines
The sentinel lashes out with its thorned vines, making a melee attack against a creature within 15 feet. On a hit, the target takes 2d10 piercing damage and must succeed on a DC 16 Constitution saving throw or take an additional 3d6 necrotic damage as their life force is drained.
