Description
Birch, a Warforged town in eternal night, lies within a magical barrier shielding it from the apocalyptic desert. The barrier’s energies sustain the Warforged but drive non-Warforged and non-dragons toward madness, causing paranoia, obsessions, or mimicry of Warforged traits over time. The Warforged view organics as fragile and unreliable, treating them with guarded hospitality, exclusion from rituals, higher costs, and subtle condescension. Madness symptoms—fixations, paranoia, or behavioral shifts—enhance roleplay depth, blending survival, prejudice, and creeping insanity in Birch’s haunting atmosphere.
