Description
Nestled deep within the rotting heart of the Ruined Cerebratorium, the Synaptic Gate Chamber lies mostly intact. This alien teleportation nexus was once used by the Illithids to transport prisoners, resources, and neural data across the supercolony. Now, it pulses weakly with fading psychic residue, awaiting minds to power it once more.
Appearance
The chamber is a vast, circular room with walls lined in bioluminescent fungi and intricate, alien runes. In the center, a large, pulsating gate of shimmering energy flickers, surrounded by remnants of Illithid technology and scattered debris.
