Description
Deep within the heart of a vast supercolony, the Ceremorphosis Chambers serve as the dark sanctum where mortals are transformed into illithids. The air is thick with the scent of decay and the pulsating glow of organic pods that line the walls, each containing a writhing mass of flesh, waiting for its next victim to undergo the horrific transformation.
Appearance
The chambers are dimly lit by bioluminescent fungi, casting eerie shadows on the slick, organic walls. The pods are semi-transparent, revealing the grotesque forms of the illithid embryos inside, while the sound of distant whispers echoes through the chamber, hinting at the minds of the transformed.
