Tepest

Harvick is tall and heavily built, with a muscular frame forged from years of combat. His face is rough, with a deep scar running down his left cheek, and his left eye is covered by a worn leather patch. His remaining eye is a cold gray, reflecting the weight of his guilt. His hair is short and graying at the temples, and his thick beard is similarly streaked with gray. Harvick wears a battered set of plate armor, dented and scratched from years of use, and carries a massive greatsword strapped to his back. His posture is stiff, with his hand always resting on the hilt of his weapon, ready for action.

Harvick speaks in short, clipped sentences, avoiding unnecessary conversation. He often avoids eye contact, especially when talking about his past. His protective instincts make him quick to defend others, but he has a hard time accepting help himself. He often gazes at the sky or the horizon, as if searching for something that could give him a sign or purpose. When faced with a moral dilemma, Harvick tends to err on the side of justice, even if it costs him personally.

Once a loyal protector of Viktal, Harvick served Mother out of duty, even sacrificing his left eye to become one of her Minders. But when his wife was taken as part of the Tithe, his faith shattered. Unable to save her, Harvick left the village, wracked with guilt and anger. He now roams the wilderness, hoping to find a way to destroy Mother and free Viktal from her grasp. Harvick’s sense of duty remains strong, but his desire for revenge and redemption now drive his every action.
