A male human farmer. Stout and muscular with sun-kissed skin and calloused hands. He has short, dark hair and deep-set brown eyes. He wears simple, durable clothing made of rough fabric, including a faded shirt, sturdy trousers, and leather boots, often covered in dirt and hay.

Tough and reserved, Hugh is practical and focused on survival. He has little patience for political discussions and is primarily concerned with the safety of his animals and family.

Hugh has lived on the same plot of land for generations, following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather. He raises cattle for meat and hides, selling them at the local market while also serving as the town's butcher. The ongoing war has made him increasingly cautious of soldiers who might seize his livestock.
