A male human woodlander. Tall and lean with rugged features, he has unkempt brown hair and deep green eyes. He wears a weathered leather tunic, sturdy trousers, and carries a bow and quiver of arrows slung over his shoulder, along with a hunting knife at his belt.

Independent and resourceful, Bartholomew is wary of authority and values freedom above all. He is compassionate towards those in need but can be ruthless against those who threaten his home.

Bartholomew is a skilled woodsman who makes his living by hunting, trapping, and collecting timber. He has no allegiance to either the Yorkists or Lancastrians, seeing both sides as equally corrupt. However, he is fiercely loyal to his forest and will defend it from any who wish to exploit or harm it. The forest is a haven for those fleeing from the war, and Bartholomew finds himself helping fugitives, offering them shelter and guidance, even if it means putting himself at risk.
