Landed Knights are lesser nobles who control lands and their associated resources. They hold local power, sometimes loyal to the crown but often swayed by the political needs of their region. They manage their land with a mixture of feudal obligation and personal ambition. They are also trained warriors, expected to defend their lands or lead in battle when called upon.
