Author's Note: This game world is losely based on the retro-future setting of the popular Alien movies that helped bring the sci-fi horror genre to the forefront of popular culture with some details inspried from Free League's Alien Core RPG. I added the class names from Free League's Alien Core RPG. However, the class descriptions are intentionally not word-for-word copies from their books. Because I respect their intellectual property, the descriptions I added for those classes are written by me, loosely based on what I remember from reading from their Core RPG book. Artifical Intelligence

Artificial intelligences are not a true "race". They are advanced computer mainframe modules installed on ships or in installations. These mainframe units are large and bulky and are capable of running ships while a crew is in cyro sleep. They do not have a holographic projection. They communicate with their human counterparts through audio systems or through computer terminal screens via text. Only the highest commanding officer has key code access to the mainframe unit.

Synthetic

A human-like robot with advanced AI covered in synthetic skin and with synthetic organs. Instead of blood, they circulate a milky white substance. They are virtually indistinguishable from humans unless you cut them open or have advanced surveillance gear. They know no fear or pain, but are programed to act like they do to fit in. Some synths are open about their artificiality. Synths can be "healed" through repair rolls. They do not heal normally. Synths get +1 on all Abilities.
