Description
The Ashen Dunes are a vast expanse of rolling sand hills, blanketed in a fine layer of gray ash. This desolate landscape is the remnants of a long-extinct volcano, where the ground is warm to the touch and the air is thick with the scent of sulfur and burnt earth.
Appearance
The dunes rise and fall like waves, their surfaces shimmering under the harsh sun. Occasional blackened rocks jut out from the ash, remnants of the volcanic activity that once dominated this area.
