For a time she was technically dead: her body died, but her mind & soul was alive in a digital form due to a foiled consortium plot. But eventually she was downloaded into a clone body and was fully brouback to life. Sadly, it was at the expense of her memories of her time in Eureka after the first few weeks of her arrival. Including her relationship with Fargo. Though they're still friends.
