Description
CERN, the European Laboratory for Particle Physics, is a vast underground research facility straddling the border between France and Switzerland, just north of Geneva. Home to the Large Hadron Collider, the world's largest particle accelerator, it delves into the fundamental structure of matter by colliding subatomic particles at near-light speeds, revealing the secrets of the universe's building blocks.
Appearance
The facility features a massive circular tunnel, 27 kilometers in circumference, located approximately 100 meters underground. The interior is filled with complex scientific instruments, including particle accelerators and detectors, all designed to observe and record the results of high-energy collisions.
