Description
The Spear is an advanced anti-tank launcher with two major components: the launcher itself and the targeting computer with rangefinder. Heavy, the Spear is often split into its two components for transport. In operation, the weapon requires a target lock with the rangefinder or a manual override. When fired, the missile shoots up at a high angle to hit the target from a top-down orientation. Because of this, there is a minimum range requirement for the weapon to prevent overshooting the target.
