Author's Note: Project abandoned for other persuits. Unfortunate, but was never quite able to bounce back after accidently deleting the overworld. This is free use to anybody persuing a similar project. Hopefully the weapons and enemy cards save you some time should you decide you want to continue this work. I will leave the world up for those who may have games open, and for future users to have access to the assets.

Description

The Automaton Berserker is a deadly melee-oriented infantry unit, designed for relentless close-quarters combat. Its primary function is to traverse the battlefield, single-mindedly pursuing targets with an unwavering determination. When in close proximity, the mechanical beast engages its foes with razor-sharp chainsaw arms, capable of inflicting horrendous damage. These Berserkers often attack in swarms, forcing enemies out of cover and into the line of fire of their more ranged Automaton allies. When disarmed, they resort to stomping on grounded opponents, showcasing a ruthless bloodlust that leaves them feared and dreaded.

Chainsaw Slash

The Berserker makes a melee attack with its chainsaw arm. On a hit, it deals 3d10 slashing damage and has a chance to maim the target, imposing disadvantage on their next attack.

Stomp

If the Berserker is missing both arms or if an enemy is prone, it can make a melee attack with its feet, dealing 2d8 bludgeoning damage.

Swarm Tactics

When at least three Berserkers are within 30 feet of each other, they can coordinate their attacks. Each Berserker gains advantage on their attack rolls against targets within 5 feet.
