Aquarus was born as an Atlantean and went on to rule the kingdom alongside his wife, Queen Aquaria. He regularly ventured out to protect his underwater nation, which eventually led him to join the Guardians of the Globe. As a Guardian, he primarily focused on land-based activities, often neglecting his own kingdom, leaving Aquaria to manage it most of the time.
