backstory
Deborah Grayson met an alien named Nowl-ahn in the early 1980's, after he saved her life from the supercriminal Gridlock. She married Nolan knowing he was a superhero and started showing him how to live on Earth. They had a son named Mark, who later developed superpowers and became known as Invincible. Throughout her life, she has been a compassionate and supportive figure, encouraging her son to be independent and make his own choices, even in the face of her husband's anger.
