The Core of Remnants is a haunting chamber where the floor is made of sinew-covered obsidian, pulsating with a sickly arcane energy. At its center floats a bleeding crystal mass, a fragment of the Bleeding Veil, surrounded by four guardians—twisted amalgamations of past adventurers, forever kneeling in silence. Those who enter without a clear purpose risk losing their memories, while the only way to destroy the heart is to willingly relinquish one's identity, or face the madness that ensues.
The chamber is dimly lit, with the obsidian floor throbbing like a heartbeat, casting eerie shadows. The bleeding crystal at the center emits a faint, crimson glow, illuminating the stitched-together forms of the guardians, whose eyes glimmer with a faint, sorrowful light.
