He often bears a concerned expression because of the many responsibilities that weight upon him. He's strong, wears studded leather armor with boiled leather pauldrons with a falcon design. He is often seen in a forest-green cloak, hunting or scouting for threats in the Velfafeth Lands region. He has blond hair he keeps in a short braid.

Stoic resolve and somber demeanor. He's thoughtful, purposeful, and patient.

Captain Doonan Pelan served as scout to Armelle's late husband for a decade. He has seen battle upon numerous occasions and is a capable warrior and woodsman. He now serves as Guard Captain to Armelle and does so with unceasing devotion, partially out of love for her, but also because of the crushing guilt he feels because he was unable to save her husband. He is a veteran of a battle five years ago over disputed territory to the south where he won distinction by defeating the champion from Ithanorana, the Adrian Mordrel in single combat.
