Description

Shukaku, the One-Tail, is a tanuki spirit of madness that embodies the elements of earth and wind. It is a paranoid creature that constantly whispers to itself, engaging in long, nonsensical arguments, and harbors a deep-seated hatred for humans, particularly those who can seal its power.

Actions

Sand Armor

Shukaku can envelop itself in a swirling armor of sand, gaining a +2 bonus to AC for 1 minute. This ability can be used once per short rest.

Seal Ward (Recharge 5-6)

Shukaku creates a barrier of sand that wards off sealing techniques. For 1 minute, it has advantage on saving throws against spells and abilities that would restrict its movement or power.

Sleep Genjutsu (Recharge 5-6)

Shukaku releases a wave of magical sand in a 30-foot radius. Creatures in that area must succeed on a DC 18 Wisdom saving throw or fall asleep for 1 minute. Creatures can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of their turns.

Voice-Drill Scream (Recharge 6)

Shukaku unleashes a terrifying scream that echoes like a drill. All creatures within 60 feet must make a DC 18 Constitution saving throw, taking 4d10 psychic damage on a failed save, or half as much on a successful one.
