Initially believed to target rogue Genjutsu users, the operation has taken a dark turn as entire villages are reported to sleepwalk into the forest, vanishing without a trace. The last known whereabouts of Ino-Shika-Cho were in a town under an illusionary lockdown, leading to a mysterious gate that has since disappeared. The operation symbolizes the psychological warfare being waged, as the Lotus blooms without chakra, spreading like a disease of forgotten memories.
