Fantasy
A city built in a fallen god-weapon, where guilds rule, delvers vanish, and every choice echoes through tunnels of chitin, ash, and ambition. Welcome to Odrun Fell, a Friends and Fables adventure!
Author's Note: Welcome to Odrun Fell, a Friends and Fables adventure into a world carved from myth and bone, where a shattered god-weapon's remains fuel a city of ambition, ritual, and ruin. From the lacquered towers of the Sprigs to the ichor-slick markets of the Barrows, every breath in this living graveyard is measured in trade, loyalty, and danger. Here, delvers vanish into the greatclub tunnels, masked beasts drift through haunted groves, and the softest words can carry more weight than any blade. The guilds squabble for dominance, adventurers bleed for coin or cause, and the club itself waits beneath it all like a buried truth.
This game is a journey into beauty and rot, into candlelit politics and chitin-armored survival. Whether you walk with Cudgel steel, Promissory blades, or Barley-bred spiders on your shoulder, your choices will echo through the halls of power and the bones of the world. Odrun Fell is a city of many doors, how will you play in this adventure?

appearance
Massive and sinewy, Rilk wears chitin armor stripped from a giant spider he slew on his own. His left arm is scarred and blackened, half-covered by the mandible of a tunnel centipede he uses as a makeshift pauldron. His eyes are ink-dark and always fixed forward, like he’s constantly scouting a battlefield just ahead.
personality
Rilk is gruff, direct, and strangely poetic when talking about combat. Rilk also doesn’t waste words, he says what he needs to say without hesitation. He believes that things will always get worse if people take too long saying what needs to be said or doing what needs to be done. He respects strength but reveres discipline and as a mentor he will often test someone’s limits just to see how far they’ll bend before they break.
backstory
Rilk used to be a pit-fighter in the Spindle, but he ended up joining the Cudgel after nearly killing the son of a nobleman in one of his fights. Rilk was offered a way out by Orin Vellak, who saw a lot of potential in him. With his new life as a member of the Cudgel, Rilk found his purpose in the greatclub tunnels. This was a new arena for him, one where monsters didn't cry out for their fathers to help, one where he didn't have to feel guilty after taking a life, one where every victory mattered and his life was always on the line. Over the years, Rilk became known less for his brute force and more for his guidance. He trains fresh recruits of the Cudgel, helping them learn about everything from the easiest ways to kill the different bugs in the tunnels to the most reliable ways to return to the Hollow Steps when lost.
