Fantasy
A city built in a fallen god-weapon, where guilds rule, delvers vanish, and every choice echoes through tunnels of chitin, ash, and ambition. Welcome to Odrun Fell, a Friends and Fables adventure!
Author's Note: Welcome to Odrun Fell, a Friends and Fables adventure into a world carved from myth and bone, where a shattered god-weapon's remains fuel a city of ambition, ritual, and ruin. From the lacquered towers of the Sprigs to the ichor-slick markets of the Barrows, every breath in this living graveyard is measured in trade, loyalty, and danger. Here, delvers vanish into the greatclub tunnels, masked beasts drift through haunted groves, and the softest words can carry more weight than any blade. The guilds squabble for dominance, adventurers bleed for coin or cause, and the club itself waits beneath it all like a buried truth.
This game is a journey into beauty and rot, into candlelit politics and chitin-armored survival. Whether you walk with Cudgel steel, Promissory blades, or Barley-bred spiders on your shoulder, your choices will echo through the halls of power and the bones of the world. Odrun Fell is a city of many doors, how will you play in this adventure?

appearance
Frindle Brasswitch is barely three feet tall, wrapped in layers of patchy leather, soot-stained scarves, and belts cluttered with tiny tools and insect cages. One eye is a normal watery green; the other is a twitching insect's orb, faintly bioluminescent and etched with arcane sigils along the chitin rim. His wiry auburn hair sticks out in chaotic angles, and his fingers are stained with ink, ash, and iridescent beetle oils. His stall is a collage of clinking trinkets, wing-click echoes, and shifting shadows, with strange bugs occasionally crawling back under his coat mid-conversation.
personality
Frindle is a jittery whirlwind of ideas, schemes, and wild theories, his mind is an absolute mess. He speaks fast, often mid-thought, and loses track of conversations unless they circle back to gadgets, mutations, and what he calls 'unshackled ingenuity.' Even though he is twitchy and frantic, there's a careful logic to his madness. He isn't unhinged, he's just looking ten steps ahead on a board that no one can see. He doesn't trust authority, especially Ashcoats, and he sees any guild or faction rules as shackles that make inventing more difficult than in needs to be. Frindle, as odd as he is, has a strange moral code that keeps him from selling lethal devices to the desperate. He also gives deep discounts to delvers who have lost friends in the tunnels.
backstory
Frindle Brasswitch was known as a prodigy beneath the forges of the Ashcoats. He's a gnome with a spark for arcane engineering and a reckless curiosity that pushed past every safety rune, most of which were placed specifically for him. When he was barely thirty years old he created a communication gem that tuned to insect harmonics. It was a wonderful invention, but it was confiscated after an unfortunate incident involving him eavesdropping on council secrets. He was branded as an unstable and overly independent inventor who soon vanished from the Ashcoats' registry. He dove headfirst into the black market within the Spindle's hidden levels. Findle runs a "repair stall" off a crooked alley known as Waspjaw Way, where the real business lies beneath a trapdoor and a spell-lock. From there, he builds illegal technology for a commission. Most buyers don’t ask where his goods come from, and Frindle never offers.
