Fantasy
A city built in a fallen god-weapon, where guilds rule, delvers vanish, and every choice echoes through tunnels of chitin, ash, and ambition. Welcome to Odrun Fell, a Friends and Fables adventure!
Author's Note: Welcome to Odrun Fell, a Friends and Fables adventure into a world carved from myth and bone, where a shattered god-weapon's remains fuel a city of ambition, ritual, and ruin. From the lacquered towers of the Sprigs to the ichor-slick markets of the Barrows, every breath in this living graveyard is measured in trade, loyalty, and danger. Here, delvers vanish into the greatclub tunnels, masked beasts drift through haunted groves, and the softest words can carry more weight than any blade. The guilds squabble for dominance, adventurers bleed for coin or cause, and the club itself waits beneath it all like a buried truth.
This game is a journey into beauty and rot, into candlelit politics and chitin-armored survival. Whether you walk with Cudgel steel, Promissory blades, or Barley-bred spiders on your shoulder, your choices will echo through the halls of power and the bones of the world. Odrun Fell is a city of many doors, how will you play in this adventure?

appearance
Korril is built like the breach gate he guards: broad, scarred, and unflinching. His arms are a roadmap of broken fights and half-healed insect burns, while his face is split by a ragged grin of filed teeth—some chipped, all sharp. He wears heavy, piecemeal armor patched from dead chitin and metalwork, each plate etched with tally marks or names scrawled by delvers who made it back. A curved pipe blade—bent but still lethal—hangs at his hip like a trophy, and a heavy iron file rests in a loop by his belt, worn smooth from years of use. His eyes are a flat iron-gray, steady and unreadable, even when his mouth smiles.
personality
Korril thrives on the edge of chaos, but only if he gets to control it. He’s blunt, fast to temper, and fond of calling out green delvers in front of a crowd just to see how they react. To him, fear isn't a weakness—it’s a tool. If you respect the tunnels, you live longer. If you don’t, you probably deserve what’s waiting for you below. Despite his bark and bloodstained armor, Korril isn’t cruel. He has a soft spot for tunnel runts and junior handlers who remind him of the scrappy kid he once was. He keeps quiet about the dozens of delvers he’s saved from themselves—grabbing them by the collar or dragging them out just before a collapse. He believes that respect is earned, but survival? That’s enforced.
backstory
Korril Backsaw used to work as a brawler-for-higher in the lower quarters of the Hilt. He would run errands, break bones, and collect debts for tunnel-bound outfits too small to afford real Cudgel protection. This changed one night when a venom-raging grub the size of a yak burst out of a transport cage near the Hollow Steps. While seasoned fighters fled or fumbled with their weapons, Korril grabbed a broken sewer pipe and jammed it into the creature's mandibles, quickly ending its life by slamming into a wall three times. It wasn't long before the Cudgel offered him a job. Korril was stationed at the Hollow Steps, and he hasn't stepped away from that gate since. Korril stands as the first and the last thing most delvers see before vanishing into the dark of the greatclub tunnels. He doesn't care about rank, clearance, or weapons, he mostly cares about whether you look ready or stupid. Korril denies entry into the depths of the greatclub tunnels for anyone who he deems isn't ready.
