Fantasy
A city built in a fallen god-weapon, where guilds rule, delvers vanish, and every choice echoes through tunnels of chitin, ash, and ambition. Welcome to Odrun Fell, a Friends and Fables adventure!
Author's Note: Welcome to Odrun Fell, a Friends and Fables adventure into a world carved from myth and bone, where a shattered god-weapon's remains fuel a city of ambition, ritual, and ruin. From the lacquered towers of the Sprigs to the ichor-slick markets of the Barrows, every breath in this living graveyard is measured in trade, loyalty, and danger. Here, delvers vanish into the greatclub tunnels, masked beasts drift through haunted groves, and the softest words can carry more weight than any blade. The guilds squabble for dominance, adventurers bleed for coin or cause, and the club itself waits beneath it all like a buried truth.
This game is a journey into beauty and rot, into candlelit politics and chitin-armored survival. Whether you walk with Cudgel steel, Promissory blades, or Barley-bred spiders on your shoulder, your choices will echo through the halls of power and the bones of the world. Odrun Fell is a city of many doors, how will you play in this adventure?

appearance
A male tiefling monk with cracked grey skin like smoked slate, short curled horns with scorch marks, a broken nose, and amber eyes. He wears a sleeveless wrap made from stitched grub-leather and ash-coated cloth, with thick forearms bound in old rags. His trousers are patched canvas tucked into heavy-soled stompers. A faded tattoo of an alley map adorns his left bicep. He carries the scent of char, spice oil, and brimstone, and walks with a slow, deliberate gait that makes him feel like an immovable wall.
personality
Threx is tough as cobble and just as blunt. He doesn’t waste words or sympathy on those who don’t earn it, but he respects tenacity and self-reliance. Though often mistaken for gruff or dull, he’s surprisingly introspective, sometimes quoting unexpected scraps of poetry or alley-folk wisdom. His patience is long, but not infinite—when pushed too far, he unleashes with terrifying precision. He believes the Spindle works because someone’s always watching, always ready to stop things from falling apart. For Crackleline Alley, he’s that someone. Threx distrusts the guilds and their shiny lapdogs but doesn’t pick fights unless they step on his stone. He has a soft spot for alley kids and food vendors who remind him of what hunger really feels like. If you pay with honesty, he’ll give you respect. If you pay with fists, be ready to get a few extra back.
backstory
Threx Karn grew up brawling for table scraps in the alley shadows of the Spindle, the son of a belligerent scrap-sifter and a vanished mother no one dared mention. His horns marked him for scorn, and his fists earned him a place. As the molten chitin runoff dried and Crackleline Alley was reborn into a smoldering food court, Threx found honest coin not in cooking—but in catching thieves, breaking up knife-fights, and hauling out the unconscious. He made himself useful to the vendors, especially the smaller ones who couldn't afford Promissory protection. He studied under an old, nameless knuckle-priest who lived under the alley grates, learning a gutter-style of combat focused on redirection, resilience, and righteous retaliation. Now, Threx serves as the unofficial enforcer of the alley. If someone causes trouble, they’ll meet the stone-block fists of a tiefling who’s eaten more fists than food—but still gets back up.
