Fantasy
A city built in a fallen god-weapon, where guilds rule, delvers vanish, and every choice echoes through tunnels of chitin, ash, and ambition. Welcome to Odrun Fell, a Friends and Fables adventure!
Author's Note: Welcome to Odrun Fell, a Friends and Fables adventure into a world carved from myth and bone, where a shattered god-weapon's remains fuel a city of ambition, ritual, and ruin. From the lacquered towers of the Sprigs to the ichor-slick markets of the Barrows, every breath in this living graveyard is measured in trade, loyalty, and danger. Here, delvers vanish into the greatclub tunnels, masked beasts drift through haunted groves, and the softest words can carry more weight than any blade. The guilds squabble for dominance, adventurers bleed for coin or cause, and the club itself waits beneath it all like a buried truth.
This game is a journey into beauty and rot, into candlelit politics and chitin-armored survival. Whether you walk with Cudgel steel, Promissory blades, or Barley-bred spiders on your shoulder, your choices will echo through the halls of power and the bones of the world. Odrun Fell is a city of many doors, how will you play in this adventure?

appearance
A young female halfling rogue with warm olive skin, glossy chestnut curls pulled into a ribbon-tied braid, and bright green eyes that rarely stop moving. She dresses in layered Spindle fashion—flowing sleeves, tailored vests, and a utility sash that looks decorative but holds tiny tools, documents, and syringes hidden under silk folds. Her boots are soft-soled and perfectly fitted, letting her glide noiselessly even across Sallowrack’s cluttered lanes. A faint scent of ink, saffron, and ozone clings to her clothes. Her voice carries only as far as she intends, and her smiles are practiced but not insincere. To most, she seems like a helpful assistant or traveling niece—someone who belongs, yet never quite lingers. She keeps a tiny glass beetle charm on a chain at her neck, gifted from her mother, and when she's alone, she turns it in her fingers while thinking through problems.
personality
Dallis is charming in a way that puts people at ease before they know why. Her voice is soft but confident, her laughter genuine, and her curiosity disarming. She’s rarely rude, but even more rarely honest. Dallis sees information the way jewelers see light—always refracted, always valuable. She enjoys puzzles, secrets, and small acts of gentle manipulation. Not out of cruelty, but because it’s what she’s best at. She’s loyal to the Promissory, though mostly because they offer her the best opportunities to grow her network and keep her hands clean. Dallis isn’t a fighter unless she has to be; she wins her battles before they start, through a whisper passed to the right ear or a wrong name left behind. She's more amused than judgmental, and carries herself with the poise of someone who’s never been caught doing anything wrong—even when she definitely has.
backstory
Born in the Spindle to a family of quiet Promissory accountants, Dallis Quin was raised amid ledgers, spice stalls, and whispered deals. Her parents weren’t criminals, just practical—coin flowed easier when you knew what the guild didn’t want spoken aloud. Dallis took to the art of noticing things early. While other children played bug-cage games, she was eavesdropping on spice traders bartering in false dialects and watching where the coin changed hands after dark. Her talent was recognized by a Promissory handler who invited her into the information wing, where she was trained not as a blade, but as a shadow. Now she works freelance within the guild, passing as a courier, merchant’s niece, or friendly market regular as needed. She frequents the Sallowrack under false names, collecting whispers about poison shipments and Cudgel buyers gone quiet. Dallis doesn’t do high-risk espionage—just the quiet kind that ensures her ledger always balances, and her name stays unspoken.
