A towering figure with a muscular build, Kaidou has long, wild black hair and sharp, menacing eyes. He wears a tattered blue coat adorned with fur and carries a kanabo (a spiked club) as his weapon. His dragon-like features, including scales and horns, reflect his Mythical Zoan heritage.

Kaidou is known for his immense strength and resilience, often displaying a fierce and intimidating demeanor. He is ambitious and ruthless, willing to go to great lengths to achieve his goals. Despite his fearsome reputation, he has a sense of loyalty to his crew and values strength above all else.

Once a promising child soldier for the Vodka Kingdom, Kaidou escaped the Marines and became a notorious pirate. He joined the Rocks Pirates, befriending Charlotte Linlin, and received the Mythical Zoan-type Devil Fruit, the Uo Uo no Mi, Model: Seiryu. After numerous imprisonments and battles, he formed the Beasts Pirates and allied with Wano's shogun, Kurozumi Orochi. Kaidou aimed to seize the Ancient Weapons and claim the One Piece, but was ultimately defeated by Monkey D. Luffy, losing his status as one of the Four Emperors.
