Pokemon Fire Red

A 6'2" muscular but lean Human K.R.P.F. officer with black hair streaked with silver, sporting a military buzz cut on the sides and longer hair on top, combed back. His burnt orange eyes are always scanning, and he has a long scar down the left side of his face. He has a metallic cybernetic right arm, a prototype from Thunderfang engineers, and wears a tactical police uniform modified with Thunderfang battle harness straps, a utility belt with Pokéballs, taser, field comm, and civilian defense modules. He wears a cracked Thunderfang badge around his neck, a personal relic.

Cold but composed, Kazuo isn’t rude — he’s efficient. Every word is measured, every movement purposeful. A battle-worn veteran, trauma and field experience have made him hyper-disciplined, though it sometimes tips into emotional repression. Extremely protective, especially of his son, his love is real but shows through preparation and pressure, not hugs and praise. He respects strength, not arrogance, and quietly proud, he watches his son grow from the shadows, constantly checking reports and movement logs. He’ll never say 'I’m proud'… but he is. Still haunted, nightmares of the Feraligatr attack come weekly, and he blames himself for the deaths in that operation… and the moment he froze.

Kazuo Katsuro was a rising star during the height of Kanto’s military conflicts. Recruited into Unit Thunderfang by Lt. Surge himself, he was known for storming enemy lines with electric-type squads and non-lethal takedowns — rare in those days. His codename, Deadvolt, came from his uncanny ability to shut down enemy systems and Pokémon without a single casualty. He became one of the few operatives trusted for civilian extractions in enemy zones. But then came the Feraligatr Incident in Johto’s southern marshland. On a mission to intercept Rocket-altered wild Pokémon, Kazuo led a squad of five into the wetlands. Only one made it out — him — and barely. He lost his right arm saving two children trapped in a collapsed transport vehicle. Surge offered him retirement, and he took it. He returned to Viridian, raised Orange alone, and joined the K.R.P.F., using his skills to handle rogue Pokémon in cities without drawing public attention.
