Kaida Soryn was born in the crumbling coastal town of Duskhaven, the daughter of a blacksmith and an outcast mother from Whitherlands. Her childhood ended when the Bloodveil Raiders sacked the town, killing her father and burning her mother as a heretic. Alone and armed with her father’s broken sword, she fled into the wilds.
In the harsh lands of Cragviel, she survived by scavenging and training, turning her reforged blade into a deadly weapon.
