Description
Shadow Wraiths are drawn to despair, unspoken guilt, and flickering light. They haunt ruins, battlefields, plague towns, and abandoned crypts. Where one lingers, the fire grows dim, dreams become restless, and reflections no longer show your own face. They don’t speak—they impress thoughts into your mind like nails. A Shadow Wraith doesn’t attack immediately. It stalks. It watches. It waits for hope to weaken. And then it strikes with silence, seeping into a victim's soul like frost through bone.

The wraith locks eyes with one creature within 30 ft. The target must make a DC 15 Wisdom save or take 4d8 psychic damage and be Frightened until the end of its next turn. On a success, they take half damage and are not frightened. While frightened, the target sees flickers of its own death.
Shadow Claw
Hit: 3d6 necrotic damage, and the target must succeed on a DC 14 Constitution save or have their maximum HP reduced by the damage dealt until the end of a long rest.
