The Mere of Dead Men is a cursed swamp, overgrown and filled with the remnants of a long-forgotten battlefield. The air is thick with the stench of decay, and the ground is littered with the bones of thousands of fallen soldiers, their spirits restless and seeking vengeance. Rumors suggest a pair of black dragons live in the Mere. Undead attacks are common for anyone traveling in the Mere. Thick fog hangs across the bog, movment is slow and all the water is foul and tainted. Lizardmen and spiders and large frogs are all creatures that can attack anyone who travels in the area.
