Mika is a young man with fair skin, blue eyes, and curled golden hair that sticks out in irregular tufts, with golden-brown tips. His appearance is often a bit disheveled, which reflects his focus on his duties rather than his personal appearance. He wears the standard uniform of the Knights of Favonius, complete with a light armor set designed for mobility. His weapon of choice, a polearm, is often complemented by a crossbow strapped to his back for precise ranged attacks.

Mika is timid and socially anxious, especially when interacting with new people or authority figures. He often finds comfort in observation, choosing to understand others' personalities before engaging with them directly. Despite his introverted nature, Mika is extremely responsible and values teamwork above all else. He is dedicated to his work and genuinely enjoys learning from his experienced colleagues. Mika’s calm, efficient approach to his duties is balanced by his love for cartography, where he expresses himself through the meticulous recording of data and mapping of terrains. He can be a bit of a recluse, quietly slipping away after his tasks are complete to avoid disrupting the flow of work.

Mika is the younger brother of Huffman Schmidt and a dedicated member of the Knights of Favonius Reconnaissance Company, led by Eula. He is known for his quiet demeanor and shy nature, particularly around strangers or those of higher rank. Mika is a diligent worker, completing tasks like setting up camp, lighting fires, and repairing equipment with remarkable efficiency. Despite his youthful age, he dreams of becoming an expert cartographer and spends much of his time surveying unexplored regions of Mondstadt. His maps are highly detailed and have earned him respect within the Knights, though few know the extent of his contributions.
