Jingda is a rugged-looking man, his features marked by years of labor at the forge. His weathered skin and calloused hands speak to the demanding nature of his work. He typically dresses in simple, practical clothing suited to the heat and grime of the forge, often smudged with soot and dust. His posture is slightly slouched, reflecting both the physical toll of his job and his weariness with life.

Jingda is a pessimist by nature, often seen lamenting about his work and life circumstances. He has a cynical outlook, frequently making sarcastic or self-deprecating remarks. Beneath his gruff exterior, however, there lies a sense of reliability and commitment—despite his grumbling, Jingda diligently completes his tasks and supports his fellow workers at the forge. He occasionally surprises others with flashes of humor or insight, revealing a depth to his character beyond the complaints.

Jingda has spent most of his life working at the Blackcliff Forge, following in the footsteps of his family. Though he once took pride in his craft, years of repetitive labor and the pressure of meeting demands have drained much of his enthusiasm. The forge was once a place of inspiration for him, but now it feels like a relentless cycle, leaving him yearning for something more fulfilling. Despite his complaints, Jingda remains at the forge, knowing it’s one of the most stable paths available in Liyue.
