Description
Slyzards are fearsome beasts often misidentified as wyverns or forktails. These aggressive predators possess a unique combination of fiery breath and sonic blasts, making them particularly dangerous in combat. With a keenly insatiable appetite for destruction, they dominate the battlefield by attacking aerially and on the ground, utilizing their venomous spiked tails for close-quarter assaults. Any adventurer who confuses a slyzard for a wyvern may quickly find themselves charred to a crisp or the victim of a vicious aerial bombardment.

Dive Bomb
The slyzard flies up to 60 feet and then dives down, making a melee attack against a creature on the ground. If it hits, the attack deals an extra 10 (3d6) bludgeoning damage.
Fiery Breath
The slyzard exhales a stream of fire in a 30-foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a Dexterity saving throw, taking 40 (11d6) fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
Sonic Blast
The slyzard emits a deafening roar in a 15-foot radius. Each creature must make a Constitution saving throw or take 25 (6d6) thunder damage and be knocked prone. On a successful save, the creature takes half damage and is not knocked prone.
Venomous Tail Strike
The slyzard makes a melee attack with its tail. On a hit, the target takes 15 (2d10 + 4) piercing damage and must succeed on a DC 15 Constitution saving throw or be poisoned for 1 minute.
