Nestled southeast of Drakelowe Keep, across the gently flowing Niben River, lies the peaceful village of Cedrian. Known for its fertile farmlands and abundant fishing, Cedrian thrives on the bounty provided by the river and the rich soil of the Nibenay Basin. The village is a key stop for traders navigating the river routes, offering fresh produce, smoked fish, and handcrafted goods. Despite its serene atmosphere, Cedrian is steeped in ancient river lore, with tales of long-forgotten Ayleid ruins submerged beneath the waters and rumors of a hidden shrine dedicated to the river goddess Ius. Villagers, while warm and hospitable, remain wary of the river’s deeper currents, believing that unseen forces still linger beneath its surface.
