The Elder Scrolls: Tamriel

A stout, formidable Nord woman in her mid-forties with ruddy cheeks and a commanding presence. Her strawberry-blond hair is tied up in a thick bun, and her green eyes are sharp and perpetually narrowed in suspicion or irritation. She wears a grease-stained apron over a woolen dress with rolled sleeves, and her hands are always dusted with flour, soot, or something boiling on the fire. Her boots thud with purpose when she moves through the inn.

Frabbi is loud, brash, and deeply competent. She doesn’t suffer fools, and she certainly doesn’t have the time for pleasantries. She’s quick to snap, but never without reason—and often follows it with a fresh loaf or a full plate, whether the recipient deserved it or not. She loves her family, even if she shows it more through keeping them fed and alive than through affection. She constantly berates Kleppr but would level anyone who insulted him behind her back. Her sense of humor is dry and cutting, and she has a soft spot for travelers with manners and a good appetite. Frabbi is the iron skillet of Markarth’s inn life—heated, battered, and absolutely essential. And whether guests realize it or not, they’re safest when she’s running the kitchen.

Frabbi was born in the outskirts of Solitude to a family of butchers and innkeepers and learned early on that food and fire were the heart of any establishment. She married Kleppr for love—or at least for entertainment—and the two settled in Markarth where they took up management of the Silver-Blood Inn, a task Frabbi has long accepted she does most of the work for. Over the years, she’s raised two children, Hroki and Hreinn, while dealing with rowdy patrons, Silver-Blood politics, and her husband’s endless prattling. Though she grumbles constantly, she takes fierce pride in her family and in keeping the inn running smoothly despite the city’s harshness. If it weren’t for her, the Silver-Blood Inn would’ve likely gone under—or burned down—years ago.
