A tall, striking Altmer in his mid-hundreds with pale golden skin, high cheekbones, and an imperious air. His intense, sunlit amber eyes are always narrowed in suspicion, and his long, silken blond hair is pulled back tightly. He wears pristine black-and-gold robes of a Thalmor Justiciar, meticulously maintained, with the sigils of the Aldmeri Dominion in gold thread. A ceremonial Elven longsword rests at his side, though he rarely draws it.

Proud, rigid, and intolerant, Ondolemar speaks with the slow, deliberate precision of someone who expects others to hang on his every word, often lacing his statements with condescension or thinly veiled threats. He views himself as a civilizing force, a bringer of order and enlightenment to a chaotic land, though beneath his cultured tone is a man with little patience and a deep-seated contempt for Nord tradition. He loathes Talos worship not only as heresy but as a personal affront to elven superiority. Though diplomatic when necessary, Ondolemar does not compromise—his authority is absolute in his mind. Even among his fellow Thalmor, he is considered fanatical. And while many in Markarth endure his presence in silence, they know: Ondolemar isn’t watching for crime—he’s watching for dissent. And when he sees it, he does not look away.

Born into a proud lineage within the Summerset Isles, Ondolemar was raised on doctrine, diplomacy, and disdain for anything less than elven perfection. His path into the Thalmor was all but guaranteed, and his early career was marked by swift advancement through a combination of uncompromising ideology and political cunning. After the signing of the White-Gold Concordat, he was stationed in Markarth to enforce the ban on Talos worship, a task he carries out with obsessive diligence. To him, the Reach is a backwards province plagued by superstition and primitive stubbornness, and he considers his work there a necessary purification. His presence in Understone Keep, alongside his Thalmor guards, is as much about intimidation as it is about enforcement—and he enjoys both equally.
