Paarthurnax is an ancient dragon who once served as Alduin's lieutenant during the Dragon War, committing many atrocities against humanity. However, he eventually turned against Alduin, teaching humans the Thu'um and aiding in Alduin's defeat. Seeking redemption for his past, he embraced the Way of the Voice, a philosophy that promotes peace and meditation, and now dedicates his existence to guiding others in mastering the Voice.
