Jorgen is critical of Jarl Idgrod Ravencrone's leadership, believing her visions render her disconnected from the town's needs. Jorgen is the owner and operator of the lumber mill in Morthal, a crucial establishment in the town's economy. He lives with his wife, Lami, the local alchemist, in a house adjacent to the mill. Jorgen is a descendant of one of the elite members of the Keepers of the Razor, a group that sought to eradicate Daedra worshippers after the Oblivion Crisis. His family has been entrusted with safeguarding the hilt of Mehrunes' Razor for generations. This legacy becomes relevant during the quest 'Pieces of the Past,' where the Dragonborn seeks to reassemble the Razor.
