Recently, his prized bow was stolen during a break-in, which he suspects was orchestrated by thieves from Riften. Feeling vulnerable and frustrated by the lack of assistance from local guards, he offers a modest reward to anyone willing to retrieve his stolen bow, emphasizing its sentimental value and the violation he feels from the theft.
