A Redguard man in his late thirties with warm brown skin, close-cropped black hair, and a neatly trimmed beard. His sharp dark eyes reflect both focus and patience. He wears simple but well-maintained priest robes in muted gold and white, suited to his role as a servant of Mara. His posture is upright, and his movements are calm and deliberate, lending him an air of quiet authority.

Maramal is composed, devout, and deeply principled. He believes in the power of love and connection, but he is not naïve—he recognizes the brokenness around him in Riften and offers compassion without judgment. Though often stern in tone, especially when discussing matters of the heart or faith, he is ultimately a patient teacher. He prefers action grounded in spiritual clarity and has little tolerance for mockery of Mara’s ways.

Originally from Hammerfell, Maramal journeyed to Skyrim to spread the teachings of Mara, settling in Riften where her influence is needed most. He took up residence at the Temple of Mara and married fellow priestess Dinya Balu, with whom he shares a quiet but strong bond. Together, they tend to the temple’s affairs and provide guidance to those seeking comfort, love, or spiritual direction. Maramal’s commitment to the faith has made him a respected, if sometimes overlooked, figure in Riften's complex political climate.
