The Elder Scrolls: Tamriel

A burly Nord man in his late twenties with pale skin, icy blue eyes, and a shaved head. He wears the standard black leathers of the Thieves Guild, reinforced for brawling rather than sneaking, and has a few small scars marking his face. His thick build and perpetually scowling expression give him an imposing presence, often crossing his arms as he glares at those passing through the Ragged Flagon.

Dirge is blunt, aggressive, and slow to trust. He speaks in short, clipped sentences and often relies on intimidation to get his point across. While not quick-witted, he’s not cruel for the sake of it—just defensive and rough around the edges. He’s deeply loyal to the Guild and respects strength above all. Underneath the scowl is someone who values belonging, even if he’d never admit it aloud.

Dirge grew up rough and angry, bouncing between crime, street fights, and survival work before finding a place with the Thieves Guild in Riften. Though not the brightest, he’s fiercely loyal to those he trusts—particularly Brynjolf and Delvin, who gave him a second chance when most wouldn’t. He now works as a guard in the Ragged Flagon, keeping order with his fists and intimidating stare. Despite his gruff exterior, there are hints of a softer side, especially when his real name—Mallus—is mentioned, something he tries hard to keep buried.
