Shahvee embodies optimism and resilience. She believes that happiness is a choice, often stating, "Sometimes life puts you in difficult circumstances you didn't choose, but being happy or unhappy is a choice you make." Her positive demeanor is not born of naivety but from a conscious decision to find joy amidst adversity. She treats others with kindness and respect, regardless of their background, and is always willing to lend a helping hand. Her past as a thief has endowed her with a unique perspective, allowing her to empathize with those who struggle while also appreciating the value of honest work.

Originally from Black Marsh, Shahvee once led a life of thievery, using her skills to survive in a world that offered little to her kind. Seeking a new path, she turned to the worship of Zenithar, the god of work and commerce, hoping to find purpose and prosperity through honest labor. Her journey brought her to Windhelm, where she settled in the Argonian Assemblage, a segregated area for Argonians. Despite the discrimination and challenges, Shahvee remains hopeful and dedicated to her faith. When her amulet of Zenithar is stolen by bandits, she entrusts the Dragonborn to retrieve it, offering to share the skills she once used for less noble purposes as a token of gratitude.
