A male Imperial enchanter with a weathered and somewhat disheveled appearance, wearing expert robes of Enchanting and boots. An iron dagger rests at his side, more a tool than a weapon. His posture is upright, and his movements are deliberate, reflecting his discipline and resilience from years of magical practice.

Sergius is pragmatic, overworked, and often exasperated by the demands placed upon him. He frequently laments the constant requests for enchanting services, stating, "I think we could blow up half of Eastmarch, and people would still come to us for enchantments." Despite his gruff exterior, he is dedicated to his craft and takes pride in his work. Sergius is also known to be involved in a secret love affair with two of the College's members, Nirya and Faralda, contributing to the tension between them.

Sergius serves as the College of Winterhold's enchanter, responsible for enchanting services and instruction. He is the only member of the College to have extensive contact with the outside world, as enchanting is the sole service the College offers to outsiders. This role has made him a vital link between the College and the broader Skyrim community. Sergius is also the author of the book A Primer on Enchanting, showcasing his expertise in the field.
