Inge is stern, sharp-tongued, and intensely devoted to the preservation of true music. She has little tolerance for hollow praise, sloppy technique, or performers who mistake charm for talent. Her words can be cutting, her lessons brutal, but those who endure her instruction emerge not just as musicians, but as vessels of cultural memory. Though she carries the weight of legend, she does not seek fame—only honesty in sound. She has a dry, often biting wit and an old soldier’s pragmatism when it comes to emotions.
