Daggerfall’s inner city hosts two adjoining markets: the Red Pavilion, filled with high-end goods, fabrics, and enchanted jewelry; and the Dunshade Bazaar, home to rougher stalls selling smoked meats, antiquated arms, and dubious potions. The tension between guild-backed merchants and independent sellers simmers constantly, and the occasional fire or theft is blamed on "market wraiths"—though it's likely the work of the Thieves Guild.
